I encourage my team to hold regular design critiques. Each designer takes a turn to present something they are working on to the rest of the team. We as a team then talk through the work – picking up on good points, things to consider and improve.
Why is this helpful?
Well, it does two jobs. First, it helps the designer to talk through their work and get useful feedback. Second, it’s also useful for the rest of the team to see and offer input into what is being worked on, and to gain practise providing constructive feedback.
This sheet was made by one of the designers for this weeks critique and gives some useful points for the group to consider discussing during the critique.
